    City Tour in Lima

    Overnight:
    In the course of today's tour, you will learn about Miraflores and San Isidro, the modern districts of the city, and the historical center of the city, which has been declared a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. The tour includes a visit to San Francisco, the most visited church in the city. The underground tunnels of the church lead to catacombs, which served as a tombs until 1808 and still contain skulls and bones.
    In the evening you should try the Peruvian cuisine in one of the numerous restaurants, which is not world famous!

    Flight to Cuzco - Welcome to Cuzco

    Overnight:
    After breakfast, you will take a transfer to Lima airport. You will say goodbye to the city and take the flight (not included) to Cusco, the capital of the Inca Empire. The city, with a population of 300,000, is particularly interesting because of the distinct influences left by the Inca and those of the Spanish colonial times, which can be seen in the architecture of the city. We recommend you to relax on this day, and to get used to the altitude in the region. Take a walk to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, where you will feel the history of the streets and also try the Peruvian cuisine in one of the numerous restaurants.

    City Tour in Cuzco

    Overnight:
    After breakfast at the hotel, you will be off to a full day at the magical Cusco and the nearby archaeological sites.
    Our tour includes a visit to the historical center, where you can see the influences of the Inca architecture as well as the colonial style of the Spaniards, buildings such as the cathedral, the Korikancha museum and the famous stone of the 12 angles. Afterwards, you will leave the city to reach the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park and the ruins of Quenqo, which are carved out of a stone and form a temple in the form of a labyrinth. Continue to Puka-Pukara, a defensive complex of the Inca Empire, and to Tambo Machay, to the holy springs in a quiet and peaceful environment. After the return to the hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.

    Excursion to the Sacred Valley - Train to Aguas Calientes

    Overnight:
    Today you will be picked up at the hotel for your excursion to the Sacred Valley. You will drive through a fertile valley and reach the Chinchero Andean village, where you will get to know the methods of the local population, which are used here to make some of the most beautiful fabrics in the region. Afterwards you will continue to the salt mines of Maras, a small town with great views, where small craftsmen produce salt in different grades of fineness.
    During this tour you will also visit the archaeological site of Moray and the ruins of Ollataytambo, from where you will take the train to Águas Calientes to spend the night there.

    The city of Águas Calientes has several thermal springs, which can be visited even late at night - a great way to relax after a hard day!

    Excursion Machu Picchu - Return by train to Cuzco

    Overnight:
    They leave early this morning to reach Machu Picchu by bus at the time when it is still the most peaceful. With an expert local guide, you will take a trip of about three hours to get to know the ruins and learn about the culture of Inca and its history. Afterwards you have the time to explore Machu Picchu on your own. We recommend a walk to the Sonnentor (about 2 hours), which offers panoramic views of the ruins.
    After the excursion, from Aguas Calientes by train back to Cusco, where a private transfer takes you to your hotel.

    Cuzco to Puno

    Overnight:
    Travel through the picturesque landscape of the Andes up to Puno. An 8-hour bus ride awaits you, but with several interesting stops. They visit, among others, the baroque church of Andahuaylillas, also known as the Sistine Chapel of America. You can also explore the Inca runins of Raqchi and cross the Pass La Raya at 4.335m, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the snow-covered Andes. Lunch is served in a typical Sicuani restaurant. After arriving in Puno you will be taken to the hotel.

    Uros Islands

    Overnight:
    This morning you will board a boat and venture out on the waters of Lake Titicaca. You will visit a native Uros village on a floating reed island. The Uros use the "Totora" (reeds) for the development of the islands and for eating. This way of life on the Uros Islands began more than 500 years ago when the community had to protect itself from the Coyas and the Incas for survival. The boat takes us to Taquile Island, famous for its weaving and knitting, whose textile products are among the highest quality in Peru. The textile art of Taquile was added in 2005 to the UNESCO list of masterpieces of the oral and immaterial heritage of humanity. After the visit return to Puno.

    From Puno to La Paz

    Overnight:
    In the morning, you will drive to La Paz, through the Altiplano (highlands), the mighty plateau bordered by the two strands of the Andes Cordillera. The impressive Andean metropolis welcomes us with the chaos of the satellite city of El Alto and the backdrop of the Royal Cordillera in the background.

    City Tour Urbano in La Paz

    Overnight:
    In the afternoon, you will get to know La Paz on a guided tour. You will start from the Moon Valley with its bizarre landscapes in the south of the city. Continue to the Miraflores quarter to the Killi Killi point, Plaza Murillo, the historic Jaén Street, where you can visit the Gold Museum or the Andinian Museum of Musical Instruments (entrance not included). Afterwards we go to the so-called "Hexenmarkt", to the Sagarnaga street and the church of San Francisco.

    La Paz - Rurrenabaque - Madidi-National Park

    Overnight:
    From your accommodation in La Paz you will be picked up early in the morning and taken to the airport. With a small plane, you will reach Rurrenabaque that is located at less than an hour flight from La Paz. The city is located on the river Beni, in the middle of the tropical lowlands of Bolivia. From here, you go directly to the Madidi National Park!
    Today on a boat, you will get from Rurrenabaque to a local village, where you will learn a lot about the life style of the locals. Past spectacular landscapes, head up the river to the Eco-Lodge in the middle of the jungle, where you will spend the night. In the afternoon after lunch and a refreshing fruit juice, you will take a small walk to watch some wild animals like monkeys or the peccary (also called javelina or skunk pig).

    Viewpoint - Camping in the middle of the jungle - Night walk

    Overnight: Camping Madidi
    After breakfast, prepare yourself for the first night in the middle of the jungle! On the 4 hours walk to the camp "Arenalito", you will carry the necessary equipment such as, sleeping bags, sleeping mats and mosquito nets. After lunch and a short break, you will go up to a mountain where you will see parrots, macaws and other birds. Enjoy the view of the rain forest landscape and a unique sunset. During the night, you will take a short walk to see the nightlife of animals such as snakes, monkeys, tapirs or giraffe. While camping in the jungle at night you may hear the roar of the jaguars and pumas!

    Rafting on the Tuichi-River - Back to the Eco-Lodge

    Overnight:
    After breakfast, prepare yourself for the first night in the middle of the jungle! On the 4 hours walk to the camp "Arenalito", you will carry the necessary equipment such as, sleeping bags, sleeping mats and mosquito nets. After lunch and a short break, you will go up to a mountain where you will see parrots, macaws and other birds. Enjoy the view of the rain forest landscape and a unique sunset.     Return to Rurrenabaque - Departure to the Pampas

    In the morning, you will return to Rurrenabaque and from there continue directly to Santa Rosa on the edge of the Pampas. While traveling you will have great possibilities to see sloths, anteaters, birds and other animals. At noon, a short boat ride will take you to the Eco-Lodge, where you will spend the night. After lunch, continue by boat across the Yacuma River, where you will have the opportunity to observe, among other things, water snakes, crocodiles and turtles. Before returning, you may have the opportunity to swim with the pink river elephants! (Depending on the season)!
    You will sleep in a private room with private bathroom in the Ecolodge.

    Beauties in the Pampas - Return to Rurrenabaque

    Overnight:
    You should take advantage of the opportunity to get up early to enjoy the sunrise and the loud animal world in the morning. After breakfast, head back to Yacuma there you will find a good place to go for a walk and with some luck you may see an anaconda. In any case, you will see many other animals! Lunch at the Eco Lodge and then return to Rurrenabaque, where you will arrive at around 4:30 pm.

    Rurrenabaque - La Paz

    Overnight:
    You will have the opportunity to explore the village of Rurrenabaque. In the afternoon, we will return to La Paz where your tour will end.
